we leave you now
Saying goodbye to California and my roommates was so difficult, even though I knew moving was the right decision. It is hard to believe that I lived down there for two and a half years.
During my time in California I grew into myself and learned how strong I am. Concordia stretched me and taught me about ministry, independence and what it really means to rely on God. My internship taught me to stand up for myself and I worked to improve my weaknesses. My roommates taught me how to live adventurously and were my supports and encouragers. Through laughter and tears, together we grew into women.
I am so thankful for this time in my life; for the time I had in California. This was truly a life-changing adventure. As sad as I am to say goodbye, it is time for the next step. I'm not sure where God is leading me or what my future looks like, but I know, without a doubt, that I am in God's hands.
Here are some pictures from my last weeks in California.

Landon Pigg show at House of Blues Anaheim.
With Landon Pigg after the show! SO AWESOME!
I took this song from Jenny's blog; it is so fitting.
by Peter Bradley Adams
Oh Los Angeles we leave you now
At the setting of your skies
As we leave the comfort of your ground
With your angels we will fly
Well you carried us in broken dreams
Like a mother does her sons
We were scattered 'cross your dirty streets
We were dying one by one
And you held us in your city lights
When our eyes had lost the stars
And we made our peace with lonely nights
And you healed our broken hearts
Well they say the Big One's gonna come
And you will fall into the sea
We will know that then your work is done
And your angels will go free
Jenny got Ashlee and I BFF Owls made by Skunkboy Creatures. Here are some pictures from our last photobooth shoot with them.
