Claremont

There are so many things I am going to miss about this town. It has been a blessing to live here.

When Jessie and Jenny visited May 2008 to find an apartment we originally looked closer to Los Angeles. I knew that we at least had to visit Claremont, where my internship would be. Driving through Claremont the girls and I knew this was where we wanted to live.

Claremont is a cute little college town. We love that we live close enough to The Village (downtown) to be able to take walks around town. There are great places to eat and fun little shops, like Raku and The Little Dress Shop.

I am especially going to miss my amazing hairstylist, Melissa, from Urban Renewal. Ashlee randomly found her in town when we moved here. Not only is Melissa an AMAZING hairstylist, but such a sweet woman.

The library and post office are within walking distance. We make it to the library multiple times a week. In town there is an amazing mosaic wall by a parking garage, that we love taking pictures by.

We also love the beautiful purple Jacaranda trees and purple and white Agapanthus flowers all over town.

In some ways Claremont sort of reminds me of Starshollow from Gilmore Girls. You can't help but fall in love with it's small town charm. There is always one event or another going on it town. Sunday Farmer's Market, Wednesday Family Night, Friday Night Live, Saturday Car Shows.

We have all really enjoyed our time here. Claremont was just what we needed for this time in our lives and it will always hold a special place in my heart.
